As part of our ongoing commitment to the In-Country Value development programme initiated by the Ministry of Oil and Gas in Oman; Badley Ashton held a free, 1 day course on Applied Carbonate Reservoir Characterisation.

In the pleasant surroundings of the Ramee Guestline Hotel in Muscat, Dr. Michael Fuchs hosted delegates from Occidental Petroleum, MedcoEnergi, MOL, Daleel Petroleum, ARA Petroleum, CCED, Hydrocarbon Finder and Sultan Qaboos University.

The course provided an overview of Carbonate Sedimentology, Facies Analysis, Pore Systems and Reservoir Quality in as much detail as possible in a single day event.

The day was a huge success with very positive feedback from all of the delegates involved.
